This rich comfort food is a crowd pleaser, Creamy, garlicky, ham and pea pleasure. This quick recipe is basically an alfredo with ham and peas and takes about 10 minutes to make. Feel free to use your noodle of choice. This time, because of the fun tubular shape, I chose garganelli, or squirrely noodles, as they are called in this house.

Boil your noodles for the time listed and in the time it cooks prepare the following;
6-8 oz of parmesan cheese grated, can substitute grana padano. use high quality cheese
1 T Butter, I try to use the best butter I can get my hands on for everything, but any will do
4 oz heavy cream ( I know, I know…)
2-3 oz frozen green peas
2-3 oz chopped ham, ham slices, or any smoked meat you prefer.
1-2 cloves of garlic minced fine or crushed
After the noodles finish cooking, drain them into the serving bowl and place the empty pot back on the stove. Add the butter and garlic to the pan and combine stirring constantly.
Add the cream and stir to combine, add the grated cheese and stir to sauce.
Take the frozen peas and rinse with the colander and toss into the sauce.
add the ham and stir to combine.
Add the noodles and toss together
Turn out the dish into the serving bowl or plate individually
Serves about 4
