Driving the Great Ocean Road

Taking a road trip on the Great Ocean Road is unparalleled coastal beauty paired with some amazing surfing and photo safari opportunities culminating in a visit to the iconic 12 Apostles. Thousands of people drive the Great Ocean road from Melbourne to Adelaide slowly hugging the shoreline and stopping for opportunities to explore the endless beaches along the way.  There is so much to see and do it should be noted that at least 3 or 4 days could easily be devoted just to meandering your way east on your leisure drive.  If you plan on making a full loop the return trip can be shortened by cutting north, inshore, across the Grampians National Park.  You can easily make a short stop and take in the sites in the forest, you wont be dissapointed.
