Atlas studio sits just outside the city of Ouarzazate and is home the production lots used to make many of the desert films scenes in films seen today.  Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars, ( in 1977), as well as Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy among others were made in part on these desert lots.
